Field Service Engineer

Position: Field Service Engineer (Permanent)
Our client is a leading supplier of vehicle wash machinery and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Field Engineer Vehicle Wash Machinery.

We are seeking an electrical bias field engineer will undertake machine installations, maintenance and repair work throughout the North of England.

Salary £40K -£44K +OT +Van + Bonus OTE £48K -£50K

The Role:

The field engineer will be responsible for electrical and mechanical installation, service and repair of commercial vehicle wash equipment.
Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;

Assist with vehicle wash machinery installation and commissioning
3-phase electrical installations and fault find and repair e.g. control panels, motors, sensors, relays etc etc
Attend machinery breakdowns and carry out fault find and repair work
Undertake scheduled planned maintenance checks
Ensure accurate visit reports including details of work undertaken /completed is recorded on computer system

Candidate:

You will be a competent engineer with excellent 3-phase electrical and mechanical fault find and repair skills.

Ideally you will have recognised qualification in electrical engineering e.g 18th edition.

Applicants with previous work experience with vehicle wash systems would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given.

You will be computer literate and you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be comfortable with working outdoors and occasionally staying from home.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 45 Hours +OT
