Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer to join their Manchester-based team.

The Role

This is a field-based service and maintenance position, ideal for an engineer who enjoys fault-finding and working independently.

You will:

Service, maintain, and fault-find addressable and conventional fire alarm systems

Work on panels including Gent, Kentec, C-Tec, Advanced, Hochiki, Menvier, and Ziton

Diagnose faults and carry out first-time fixes

Replace devices and system components to maintain compliance

Ensure all work meets BS5839 standards

Complete clear service and test documentation

Represent the company professionally on site

Sites include commercial offices, retail and hospitality, and industrial environments. You'll manage your own workload and van stock with support from an experienced team.

What They're Looking For

Essential:

Experience in fire alarm servicing, maintenance, or commissioning

Strong fault-finding skills on addressable systems

Good knowledge of BS5839

Full UK driving licence

Professional attitude and attention to detail

Desirable:

Experience with multiple manufacturers

ECS, FIA, or manufacturer training

Commercial or industrial site experience

If you have the right attitude, training will be provided.
