Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Security Service & Maintenance Engineer to join their Manchester-based team.

The Role

This is a field-based service and maintenance role, ideal for an engineer who enjoys fault-finding, autonomy, and working across varied security systems.

You will:

Service, maintain, and fault-find security systems including intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and intercoms

Work on systems such as Paxton, Hikvision, Galaxy, Texecom, Avigilon, Axis, and similar platforms

Diagnose faults and carry out first-time fixes where possible

Replace devices, controllers, cameras, and system components

Ensure all work meets relevant standards and company procedures

Complete clear service and maintenance documentation

Represent the company professionally on client sites

Sites include commercial offices, retail and hospitality, industrial facilities, and high-end residential properties. You'll manage your own workload and van stock with genuine technical support when required.

What They're Looking For

Essential:

Experience in security system servicing, maintenance, or installation

Strong fault-finding skills across at least two disciplines (CCTV, intruder, access control)

Good understanding of industry standards and best practice

Full UK driving licence

Professional attitude and attention to detail

Desirable:

Experience with multiple manufacturers

SSAIB or NSI environment experience

Manufacturer training (Paxton, Hikvision, Axis, etc.)

Commercial or industrial site experience

If you have the right attitude, training will be provided.
