- Interpret instructions from job cards and repair orders, ensuring compliance with repair specifications.
- Attend training sessions to keep skills up-to-date with the latest technical developments.
- Accurately report and record all work undertaken, including vehicle tests and any additional faults.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Provide timely, accurate information and maintain detailed records of diagnostics and repairs.
- Support the company’s reputation by delivering high‑quality workmanship.
- Work effectively within a team in a busy workshop environment.
- Follow health and safety regulations and company policies to uphold standards.
- Operate within a varied workload, tackling diverse jobs on specialised equipment.
DAYS – 4 on 4 off days. Either 06:00–18:00 or 07:00–19:00.
NIGHTS – Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday nights. Either 18:00–06:00 or 19:00–07:00.
Requirements- Hold a City and Guilds Level 3 qualification in HGV Mechanics.
- Possess at least 3 years’ experience working in a fast‑paced workshop, dealership, or related sector (including trucks, agricultural vehicles, etc.).
- Have familiarity with workshop administration systems (job cards, reports, electronic service sheets).
- Enjoy a varied workload and be adept at troubleshooting.
- Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
- Be flexible to work shifts, including days and nights, on a 4‑on, 4‑off pattern.
- £45,000 – £47,500 basic salary plus a performance‑related yearly bonus.
- £2,500 joining bonus after successfully passing probation.
