YourRole:
As a Tenancy Management Officer, you will be at the heart of our mission, working directly with residents to create vibrant, safe, and supportive communities. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with Residents:
Build strong relationships with residents, understanding their needs, and providing tailored support. - Community Building:
Organise and facilitate events, workshops, and activities to foster a sense of belonging and mutual support. - Housing Management:
Conduct regular inspections, address maintenance issues, and ensure our properties meet high standards of safety and comfort. - Advocacy and Support:
Assist residents in accessing resources such as employment opportunities, educational programs, and social services. - Conflict Resolution:
Mediate disputes and foster positive relationships within the community. - Data Management:
Maintain accurate records and reports to track resident progress and community outcomes.
- Passion: A genuine commitment to improving the lives of homeless families and individuals.
- Experience:
Previous experience in housing management, neighbourhoods, or community engagement is highly desirable. - Skills:
Strong communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills. - Empathy:
The ability to listen, understand, and respond to residents' needs with compassion. - Resilience:
The ability to handle challenging situations with a positive and proactive attitude. - Flexibility:
