Salary & BenefitsSocial Worker: £37,938 – £39,513 per annum
Senior Social Worker: £40,476 – £45,718 per annum
In addition, you will receive:
- £4,000 welcome payment
- £2,000 annual retention payment
- Relocation package of up to £8,000
- Flexible and hybrid working arrangements
- 25.5 days annual leave, rising to 30.5 days after five years' service
- Option to purchase up to 10 additional days of annual leave each year

Teams are structured to ensure Social Workers receive meaningful support from experienced Team Managers and Advanced Practitioners, helping to maintain manageable caseloads, staff wellbeing, and excellent retention rates.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting young people within the 16+ Leaving Care Service
- Building strong relationships with young people, families, colleagues, and partner agencies
- Completing high-quality assessments, care planning, and intervention work
- Promoting positive long‑term outcomes and successful transitions into adulthood
- Contributing to effective safeguarding and multi‑agency working
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A recognised Social Work qualification
- Current Social Work England registration
- Experience working within statutory children’s social work services
- Knowledge of leaving care, looked‑after children, or placement services
- A passion for improving outcomes for children and young people
