About This Role
At We Are Survivors, every role exists for one reason: to support male survivors of sexual harms and the people who stand alongside them. The Community Development Worker creates opportunities for connection, belonging, and peer support. This includes facilitating drop‑ins, creative activities, coffee mornings, and other community spaces where survivors can meet others with shared experiences in a safe, trauma‑informed environment.
The team also provides regular check‑ins for people waiting to access other services, helping them stay connected and supported while they wait.

You’ll be comfortable working with trauma, have experience in mental health, support, or community engagement. We particularly welcome people who have worked with men, sexual harms, and their loved ones, but we also recognise that great people bring transferable skills and diverse experiences.
