Rotational shifts including early, mid and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays About the Role You will be working in a supported accommodation service for young people and care leavers aged 18-25. We are looking for a passionate and resilient Support Worker to empower young adults to develop the skills, confidence and independence needed to sustain their own tenancies and achieve positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will hold a caseload of customers and provide person-centred support, helping individuals overcome barriers and work towards their goals.

Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of young people and care leavers. Develop and review person-centred support plans. Assist customers to build independent living skills, including budgeting, cooking, tenancy management and accessing community services. Support customers to engage with education, training and employment opportunities. Provide practical and emotional support to help customers achieve their goals. Complete risk assessments, support plans and case notes.

Work closely with social workers, local authority teams, health professionals and partner agencies. Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and positive outcomes for all customers. Support customers to maintain successful tenancies and prepare for move-on accommodation.

Essential Criteria Experience supporting young people, care leavers, vulnerable adults or individuals with complex needs. Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage challenging situations professionally. Good IT and record-keeping skills. Flexible approach to working a rota, including weekends and bank holidays.

Desirable Experience within supported housing, homelessness, youth services or leaving care services. Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and tenancy sustainment.
