Social Worker, Child Development​/Support

We are looking for a Children Social Worker to join the Children in Care Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years permanent post qualified experience within a direct local authority.

About the team:

The Children in Care Team supports children and young people who are looked after by the local authority, working to ensure their care plans are progressed, placements remain stable and their needs are fully met. The team works closely with children, families, carers, schools, health professionals and partner agencies to complete statutory visits, assessments, care planning, reviews and court-related work where required.

This is a varied role suited to a confident Children's Social Worker with strong safeguarding knowledge, effective multi-agency working skills and experience supporting looked after children to achieve positive outcomes.

About you:

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3-year experience is essential to be considered for this role. Experience working in a Frontline Children's Service lends well to the success of this position.
