Adults Social Worker- Autism Team

Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Autism Team. Fantastic payrate of £30 per hour! Undertake Care Act assessments and develop person-centred care and support plans for autistic adults and their carers. Manage a caseload of adults with autism, assessing needs, strengths, risks, and outcomes to promote independence and wellbeing. Complete safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments, ensuring vulnerable adults are protected from abuse and neglect. Apply relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding policies in practice.

Work collaboratively with health professionals, housing services, education providers, community organisations, and family members to coordinate support. Provide advice, advocacy, and practical support to autistic adults and their families, enabling informed decision-making and access to appropriate services. Review care and support arrangements, monitor outcomes, and ensure interventions remain effective and responsive to changing needs. Requirements of this role:
Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England. Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
