Position: Adults Social Worker [Trafford]
Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Interim Triage Team Fantastic payrate of £30 per hour! Undertake initial screening and triage of referrals to Adult Social Care, identifying risks, needs, and appropriate service pathways. Complete timely assessments and gather relevant information to determine eligibility and support requirements under the Care Act 2014. Manage urgent and complex enquiries, ensuring individuals receive the right support at the earliest opportunity. Provide information, advice, and guidance to adults, carers, and professionals to promote wellbeing and independence.

Work collaboratively with health services, community organisations, and partner agencies to coordinate effective interventions and prevent escalation of need. Complete safeguarding referrals, risk assessments, and appropriate actions to protect vulnerable adults from abuse and neglect. Maintain accurate case records, assessments, and reports, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and performance standards. Requirements of this role:
Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England. Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
