Support Worker, Community Health

Key Responsibilities Support children in residential settings with daily routines, appointments, family contact, and engaging activities. Build trust and positive relationships with young people using creative, trauma-informed approaches. Confidently de-escalate challenging behaviours to maintain a safe, nurturing environment. Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports to inform long-term care plans.

What We Are Looking For

Experience:

Minimum 6 months of paid UK care experience (residential child care experience strongly preferred).

Skills:

Strong de-escalation techniques and sound decision-making under pressure. Mindset: A calm, non-judgemental, and resilient approach when handling crisis situations. Compliance:
An active DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). PMVA training is highly desirable.
