We’re looking for a front end developer who can bring their expertise of JavaScript frameworks to craft delightful, high performing user interfaces.

We are proud of the high standards we achieve, both as individuals and as a team. Joining us as a front end engineer, you will bring experience and expertise in Type Script frameworks with a focus on React and the ability to apply these skills to other modern languages and frameworks for both desktop and mobile. You’ll have a good understanding of HTML/CSS however there will be other team members who specialise in “Front of Front End”.

You will be part of a core team working together to deliver mission‑critical business systems, websites and mobile apps for enterprise clients and will have the ability to make a real difference to each and every project you work on. You’ll bring with you a strong understanding of front end development, test‑driven development, user experience and API integrations. While the main focus of this role is on the front end we highly value T‑shaped people who can cross over into back end technologies (NodeJS, C#, PHP etc).

We appreciate that’s a big ask, but if you combine strong coding experience, practical problem solving skills and an awareness of the latest cloud‑based web technologies, you’re probably the person we want to speak to.

• A deep understanding of Type Script/JavaScript frameworks (React) for use across web and mobile applications
• Secure, scalable, enterprise‑level software development
• Experience of Test‑Driven Development (TDD)
• Familiar with agile software development.
• A keen eye for detail mixed with the ability to rapidly solve problems.
• An appreciation for, and understanding of Front‑End development (e.g. React/Vue/Ember etc & Vanilla JS/Typescript)
• Understanding and experience of CMS systems (e.g. Sitefinity, Contentstack, Umbraco etc)
• Experience in maintaining documentation, performing code reviews and contributing to architecture design
• Great people skills and a professional attitude – organised, respectful and driven
• A passion and interest in design trends, continuously learning and sharing your subject matter expertise with the wider team
