Senior Backend Engineer

I’m currently working with an award-winning digital bank that’s been transforming the UK financial space!

With 1.4 million customers, they’ve grown from a Fin Tech startup into a profitable, high-scale business, with their Manchester hub leading their next stage of growth.

They’ve been recognised as Bank of the Year and awarded Best App, yet they still operate with the mindset of a product-led tech company rather than a traditional bank.

They’re looking for a product-minded backend engineer who enjoys real ownership and end-to-end responsibility.

This is a role for someone who wants to be involved across the full software lifecycle.

• Strong Java or Kotlin experience
• Microservices and distributed systems
• Stakeholder management (both technical and non technical)
• Experience in fast pace environments

This is a hybrid role, 3 days a week in their central Manchester office.
