Anaplan is looking for a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Experience Engineering workstream. You will be a founding member of a new team dedicated to building our world-class User Experience. You will work alongside other talented engineers to build and ship award-winning planning technology that helps people and companies around the world make better-informed plans and decisions.

• Be part of a well-balanced, cross-functional team, delivering exceptional software.
• Be driven by the customer; everything you do is to solve a problem for our users or to enable us to solve problems for users more effectively and sustainably.
• Work closely with product to deliver customer-delighting experiences and platform innovations.
• Actively practice continuous integration and deployment and proactively contribute improvements to the way these are done.
• Work within an agile development process and thrive in an environment with autonomy and accountability.
• Write tests at every level of the testing pyramid to ensure the quality of your work is ready for production.
• Apply your experience across the full stack as necessary; we recognise specialisms while valuing flexible engineers who will expand their skill sets.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail to create applications that solve significant problems for users.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to craft well-architected, scalable, and maintainable systems.
• A robust toolkit of design patterns and the ability to choose the right one for each problem, applying SOLID principles.
• Expertise with Type Script and React.
• Experience writing back-end services using a JVM language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot) or similar.
• Understanding of deployment tools and technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Ability to collaborate with and lead others, communicate ideas clearly, influence thinking, and make difficult decisions while maintaining relationships.

• Front-End: React, Type Script, CSS, Redux, Jest, Vite, Enzyme, Cypress.
• Back-End: Java, Kotlin, Spring Framework, MySQL
