Lead/Principal .NET Developer - Manchester (City Centre) – 3 days per week in office - £85,000

We’re partnering with an established, high-growth technology company based in central Manchester to hire an experienced Principal .NET Developer. This is a senior, hands‑on engineering role focused on building and evolving a large-scale platform within a collaborative, modern tech environment.

This position would suit you if you are a highly experienced .NET developer who enjoys owning complex features end‑to‑end, contributing to architectural decisions, and working closely with cross‑functional teams. While this is a senior role, it remains strongly hands‑on.

I want to speak with you, if you have:
  • Strong commercial experience with .NET / C#, ideally including ASP.NET
  • Experience working with front‑end technologies (ideally React, but other modern frameworks considered)
  • Solid understanding of cloud environments (experience with AWS and/or Azure)
  • Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience working on production systems at scale
  • Interest in, or exposure to, AI/LLM technologies and how they can be integrated into real‑world applications
  • Confidence contributing to technical discussions and collaborating across teams
The Role:
  • Design, build, and deliver robust software solutions using .NET and modern front‑end technologies
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction
  • Develop features from concept through to production deployment
  • Work within a cloud‑hosted environment (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Support the exploration and integration of AI‑driven capabilities within the platform
  • Collaborate closely with Product, QA, Dev Ops, and Delivery teams
The Environment:
  • Central Manchester location with excellent transport links
  • Modern, stylish office
  • Hybrid working – 3 days per week in the office with flexible start/finish times
  • Established company with strong financial backing
  • Clear progression pathways and genuine long‑term career growth opportunities
  • Competitive salary up to £85,000 plus strong benefits package

If you’re an experienced .NET developer looking for a senior, high‑impact role within a growing and forward‑thinking company, this could be an excellent next step.

There is no sponsorship provided for this role, unfortunately
