We're partnered with a global financial services organisation seeking a Senior VP Full Stack Engineer to lead from the front-driving mission-critical delivery, shaping engineering standards, and building high-performing teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on engineering leader who thrives in agile environments and enjoys solving complex business challenges through scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions. You'll play a key role in shaping engineering standards, leading talented teams, and delivering critical systems end‑to‑end.

This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role with real influence across architecture, people, and technology.

• Lead, coach, and scale high‑performing engineering teams
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of critical systems (design → deploy → optimise)
• Drive engineering excellence across microservices, APIs, testing, and Dev Ops
• Champion secure, resilient, and observable platforms
• Partner with product and business leaders to deliver measurable outcomes
• Influence architecture strategy, modernisation, and governance

• Proven leadership of engineering teams in agile environments
• Strong Java (Spring) expertise and microservices architecture
• Experience building scalable, observable, testable systems
• Solid Dev Ops mindset: CI/CD, TDD, automation, containers
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools and integrating AI into products
• Track record of hiring, developing, and retaining top talent
