• Lead the design, development and maintenance of software applications, ensuring quality, efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with the Platform Engineering team on tooling, CI/CD and deployment process improvements.
• Produce clean, maintainable, scalable code.
• Debug, resolve issues, fix bugs and optimise performance across the stack.
• Provide technical direction to the team through code reviews and mentoring.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and apply learning to improve development processes.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation for design, code, tests and user‑facing technical materials where required.
• Act as a liaison between Engineering and Senior Management, communicating progress, risks and technical challenges.

• Strong commercial experience with C# .NET.
• Solid SQL/MySQL experience.
• Proven experience developing enterprise‑grade single‑page applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with strong expertise in modern frameworks.
• Confident with Git and source control best practices.
• Strong grasp of OOP principles, design patterns, software design and architecture.
• Experience with TDD.
• Proven experience working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent collaborator and communicator, with a problem‑solving mindset.

• Salary: £75k+ bonus.
• Hybrid working with 2 days in Manchester office (must be based in the UK).
