Position:
Java Full Stack developer

Location:

Manchester, UK (Hybrid-3 days a week from office)
12 months contract position

Responsibilities

Build and maintain Java-based microservices with Spring Boot, ensuring scalability and performance.

Develop front-end applications using modern frameworks (Angular/React) for seamless user experiences.

Integrate workflows with external systems via REST APIs, messaging queues, and cloud services.

Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Ensure code quality, security, and performance optimization across the stack.

Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and support deployment activities.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

Java / Spring Boot:
Strong backend development experience, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture

Database: SQL/No

SQL (Postgre

SQL, MySQL, Mongo

DB, etc.)

Front-End Development:
Angular/React/Vue.js with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/Type Script

Cloud Platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP (deployment, CI/CD pipelines)

Version Control:
Git, Git Hub/Git Lab

Secondary Skills

Knowledge of Kubernetes/Docker for containerization and orchestration

Experience with Kafka/Rabbit

MQ or other messaging systems

Exposure to Dev Ops practices and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, etc.)

Familiarity with API Gateway / Security (OAuth2, JWT, Keycloak)

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
