Salary:£55,000 to £60,000
Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required or Higher

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Software Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team delivering innovative software solutions within a secure and technically challenging environment.

Working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, you will contribute to the design, development and deployment of mission-critical software supporting a range of complex programmes. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies, solve challenging technical problems and develop your skills within a supportive engineering culture.

• Design, develop and maintain software solutions using industry best practices.

• Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders and project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

• Support the successful delivery of project milestones and objectives.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering function.

• Participate in technical discussions and help shape team direction and best practice.

We are interested in candidates with experience in some or all of the following:

• Full-stack software development within agile teams.

• Enterprise-scale web application or backend service development.

• Java and Spring Boot.

• Modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.

• Cloud platforms including AWS and/or Azure.

• Docker and Kubernetes.

• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible or similar.

• Unit testing and automated testing practices.

• Git version control, including branching and pull request workflows.

Applicants do not need experience across every technology listed. Training and development support is available to help successful candidates expand their technical expertise.
