Java Full Stack Engineer - Consultant

We're looking for a Java Full Stack Engineer with strong backend and frontend development experience to join a team delivering innovative digital solutions for enterprise clients.
You’ll work on digital transformation programmes, designing and delivering modern cloud-native applications that solve real business challenges. Working alongside architects, engineers and stakeholders, you’ll help build scalable, secure and high-performing solutions using modern technologies and engineering practices.
Your Role- Design, develop and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build responsive web applications using React, JavaScript/Type Script, HTML and CSS.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and cloud-native applications.
- Work across the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and support.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops practices and secure digital platforms.
- Continue developing technical skills through innovative client projects and emerging technologies.
- Strong experience building RESTful microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Frontend development experience with React, JavaScript/Type Script, HTML and CSS.
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
- Proficiency with Git and platforms such as Git Hub or Git Lab.
- Experience working with AWS or Azure.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions or Jenkins.
- Experience working in Agile software development teams.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Familiarity with No
SQL databases, particularly MongoDB. - Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Work on high-profile digital transformation programmes across multiple industries.
- Exposure to modern technologies including Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Spring Boot, React, AWS, Azure, Docker and Kubernetes.
- Access to training and certifications across cloud, software engineering, Dev Ops, cybersecurity and Agile delivery.

UK-wide client travel may be required depending on project needs.
