Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Great opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join a private equity backed tech company in Manchester as they go through a scale-up. You would join a product-based team within a larger engineering department and be involved in all aspects of the systems you work on, from design through to deployment and supporting them in production.

Each squad decides the methodologies and practices they use, as the business has created an experimental culture, following a build, measure and learn approach to get quick feedback and deliver valuable increments.

The existing group are very open minded; they value teamwork over individual heroics and focus on engineering best practice like TDD, CI/CD and Pair Programming.

• REST APIs, Microservices, Event Driven Systems
• AWS, Terraform, Docker
• CI/CD, TDD, Pair Programming

The money is good too – up to £75k plus benefits including hybrid working (2 days per week in their office in Manchester city centre).
