We offer a hybrid approach to work where you choose how much or how little you work from one of our UK offices. IIG has the culture and feel of a small business, paired with the benefits of our position in a much larger organisation. We offer a great L&D package including 5 days external training, a career coach and guilds to share innovation and learning.

We also offer self-directed career progression, that fosters opportunities for success for us and our business.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We have a wide variety of teams who support our customers on a range of interesting and complex projects, building new bespoke software solutions and providing them with up to date capability to meet their needs. As Technical Consultant (Software Technical Lead), you will join an Agile focussed team, gaining exposure to:

  • Implementing software solutions including design, development and testing
  • Using a wide range of technologies, specialising in the use of open-source libraries and components.
  • Utilising tools such as Git Lab to build continuous integration pipelines, which help monitor and ensure software quality and security
  • Deploying software systems to a mixture of environments, including public (AWS and Azure) and private cloud

Supporting the development of solution architectures and technical designs,

  • Full Software Lifecycle involvement: project concept formalisation; requirements analysis and specification; architecture design; implementation and delivery; training and support and software lifecycle and maintenance
  • Lead teams and managing engagement with our clients.
THE FIT:

At IIG, there’s no such thing as a typical solution - we’re looking for talent that can keep up with our clients’ challenges, and set the pace for new ideation. We value intelligence and fast learners, flexibility and excitement about tackling every new opportunity. Our work is highly collaborative, so friendly relationship builders are vital to our teams.

Due to the industries we work in, we require the successful candidate to be able to obtain high level security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.

Why work for us?

The Software Technical Lead role is an excellent opportunity, and CACI reward their staff well with a competitive salary and impressive benefits package which includes:

  • Flexi-time: 37.5 hour weeks to structure how you want.

  • L&D:
Budget for conferences, training courses and other materials.
  • Social:

We offer a great L&D package including 5 days external training, a career coach and guilds to share innovation and learning. We also offer self-directed career progression, that fosters opportunities for success for us and our business.

CACI is proud to be an equal opportunities employer. Embracing the diversity of our people, we are on a journey to build a truly inclusive work environment where no one is treated less favourably due to ethnic origin, age, gender, veteran status, religion or belief, sexual orientation, marital status, and disability or health condition, actively working to prevent discrimination.
