The Opportunity

Are you a technical, execution-focused builder who wants to ship cutting-edge AI and automation tools? Open Partners is looking for an AI & Automation Associate Partner to join our AI & Automation Centre of Excellence (CoE). Working to the direction and standards set by CoE leadership, you will turn defined requirements into working software, reliable automations, and agentic workflows across creative, media, and data teams.

You will deepen your engineering craft, build data pipelines, and develop LLM-powered features that drive efficiency across the agency.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Core Engineering & Build: Build, test, and deploy AI features, tools, and automation pipelines to defined requirements across creative, media, and data workflows.

Platform & API Integration: Develop and maintain automation workflows and data pipelines, integrating core agency platforms through their APIs.

Agentic & LLM Workflows: Implement LLM-powered features and agentic workflows using established CoE patterns, such as orchestration frameworks and RAG / grounded retrieval.

Code Quality & Standards: Write clean, maintainable code and configuration, keeping all technical documentation up to agreed standards.

Security & Compliance: Apply agency standards for security, authentication, data handling, GDPR, and bias prevention in everything you build.

Maintenance & Monitoring: Monitor live tools, respond to issues, fix bugs, and optimize performance to ensure high reliability and uptime.

Governance & Registration: Register all completed work in the App Passport and keep governance records fully up to date.

Adoption & Support: Produce how-to guidance, answer user questions, and support the rollout of tools across internal teams.

What Success Looks Like

High-Volume Delivery: Consistent volume and quality of builds delivered against agreed schedules.

System Reliability: High uptime and reliability of maintained tools, meeting defined SLAs with fast bug-fix turnarounds.

Governance Compliance: 100% of live work documented, governance-compliant, and registered in the App Passport.

Impactful Automation: Clear reduction in manual tasks through successful deployment of live builds.

Zero Incidents: Maintaining strict security discipline with zero credential or data incidents.

What You’ll Bring

Proven Track Record: Hands-on experience building and shipping working software, automations, or AI features within marketing, media, or analytics contexts (or strong transferable experience).

Technical Stack Capability: Practical engineering skills (e.g. Type Script / Node.js, Python, React) and experience building within cloud architectures (e.g. GCP: Cloud Run, Cloud SQL / PostgreSQL, GCS).

AI & LLM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with LLM features, agentic workflows (e.g. Lang Graph), and workflow automation tools (e.g. n8n).

Ethical & Governance Awareness: Strong understanding of AI/ML ethics, security, and GDPR compliance.

Problem Solving &

Collaboration:

Excellent debugging skills, clear communication, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Our Values & Mindset

At Open Partners, we hire mindset first. It is the single biggest factor of success in our business, and we believe you can grow that mindset in any walk of life and career background. If you do not have direct industry experience but possess a fierce growth mindset and transferable technical skills, we want to hear from you. We hold ourselves to three simple standards:

Smarter: Aim high, train hard, embrace next.

Faster: Learn fast, adapt fast, act fast.

Better: Think, say, and do what is best.
