• Build production React and Type Script components for Maia and Maia Teams
• Use GenAI tools daily to handle repetitive work, focusing time on architecture and hard logic
• Review, refactor and harden AI-suggested code against security and performance standards
• Break epics into shippable increments and maintain a steady flow of value through CI/CD
• Shape front-end architecture with the squad, including component patterns, state management and durable calls
• Build interfaces for Matillion's Maia AI Data Automation platform
• Own high-visibility features and help define production-ready engineering standards

• Professional experience shipping production React applications, with testable, well-documented code
• Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools, paired with the judgement to critically validate every output rather than trust it blind
• A structured, systematic approach to diagnosing and fixing issues in a frontend service
• Strong grasp of modern web security and self-documenting code practices
• Comfort across the full SDLC - Agile, CI/CD, version control - in a live production environment
