Senior Software Engineer Senior Python Engineer to be part of an exciting project that will see one of the largest banks in the UK completely overhaul and revolutionize their approach to engineering. You will work with a global, diverse, and inclusive team that is passionate about delivering customer-centric solutions using the latest technologies. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be a key player in shaping the future of banking. You’ll lead the design, development, and maintenance of quality practices while collaborating with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to understand the objectives, goals, and requirements of the projects you’ll be working on.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of software that delivers a positive customer experience

Create and maintain high-quality software using Python as your primary language

Optimize our software engineering capability and new technologies

Follow best engineering practices such as TDD, BDD, Pair-programming

Mentor and collaborate with other engineers to deliver results

Qualifications:

Strong full stack experience in software design and implementation using Python Knowledge of industry-recognized frameworks and development tools

Experience working in cloud-native environments and the development of Microservices. (AWS/GCP)
Extensive experience in API development

Understanding and passion for Dev Ops and Building out CI/CD to improve automation.

Kubernetes experience is great!

Strong stakeholder management skills
