iOS Developer (Contract)

Six months outside IR35 immediate start. Four days remote one day per week in Manchester.

This is a chance to work on a mobile app used at national scale inside a public sector organisation that takes engineering seriously.

Youll be joining a modern setup with automated testing ephemeral branch deployments and performance testing in AWS Code Build.

If you like clean architecture and proper test coverage this is the kind of environment where that work is valued rather than skipped.

Mostly remote one day a week in Manchester and a clear six-month runway to get your teeth into.

What youll be doing:

Youll help integrate internal government services into a high-traffic mobile app building features end to end and holding a high bar on testing and quality as you go.

What youll need:

Essential

• Strong Swift

• SwiftUI and UIKit

• MVVM-C architecture

• Automated testing across unit integration/feature and UI

• Git Hub Actions CI/CD

Desirable

• Objective-C

• K6 performance testing

• AWS and Code Build

Youll also need prior government or public sector experience and must be eligible for SC clearance.
