The Fitch Group’s AI Implementation Team is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer with 6+ years of experience to lead the design and delivery of production AI/ML solutions across Fitch Group. You will set technical direction, lead complex initiatives, and collaborate with product squads, business partners, and cross-functional teams to integrate advanced AI capabilities into flagship products and workflows.

The AI Implementation Team focuses on:

• Implementing AI/ML technology in collaboration with business partners and product squads
• Developing and supporting enterprise-level AI exploration tools and capabilities
• Providing guidance for efficient and secure development and deployment of AI

What You'll Do:

• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML solutions, focusing on advanced generative AI frameworks and agentic workflows
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on coding practices, architectural design, and project execution.
• Drive projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring the integration of AI/ML solutions into existing workflows by collaborating with product squads and business stakeholders
• Develop robust, production-quality software in Python and build large-scale data workflows using orchestration platforms such as Airflow, while driving technical execution across complex initiatives.
• Use expertise in cloud computing (AWS and Azure) to build and optimize AI infrastructure
• Champion ML governance, ensuring adherence to guidelines, monitoring SLAs, and enhancing AI solutions’ performance and reliability
• Translate complex AI & ML concepts for technical and non-technical audiences, fostering alignment across teams
• Design and develop APIs for integration and deployment of ML models and solutions
