Didsbury Northern Hockey Club is a vibrant and inclusive club, committed to developing players of all ages and skill levels. Our men's section see many junior players playing within senior squads from National League down to NW Division 7. We are proud of the way the club has developed junior players and wish for this to continue into the future.

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Coach and Assistant Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sport, a strong understanding of coaching as well as the ability to inspire and motivate players.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise, and conduct an effective training program.
• Attend all fixtures (for the right candidate).
• Develop and implement game strategies and tactics.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to players to enhance their skills and performance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment.
• Monitor and evaluate player progress and development.
• Collaborate with other coaches to ensure a cohesive club coaching approach.
• Support the Club Coach in their role.
• Support the planning and delivery of an effective training program.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to players to enhance their skills and performance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment.
• Collaborate with other coaches to ensure a cohesive club coaching approach.

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching experience
• Relevant coaching certifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with players of all ages and varying abilities.
• Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
