Job Overview
We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Day Driver for ongoing trunking work based in Manchester. Ideal for a professional driver seeking reliable daytime shifts, excellent pay, and minimal physical work.
Key Responsibilities- Day-shift Class 1 (C+E) trunking
- Completing 1–3 drops per shift
- Drop & go only – no handball involved
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Completing paperwork in line with WTD and driving regulations
- Representing the client professionally at all times
- Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 1 (C+E) experience
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Maximum 6 points on licence (no DD/DR/IN endorsements)
- Punctual, reliable, and professional
- Good communication skills
- £20 per hour
- Ongoing, long-term work
- Weekly pay
- Guaranteed minimum hours

- No heavy lifting or manual work
