Road Freight Operator

We’re a Dutch, family-owned operator with a proud 56 year history, a fleet of more than 80 trucks and 120 trailers, and offices in the Netherlands, and the UK.

Known for delivering service driven solutions across the Benelux region, we’re looking for a Road Freight Operator to strengthen our Manchester team.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in road freight operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling pricing requests, bookings, and client queries with accuracy and efficiency.
• Providing exceptional service and building strong client relationships.
• Coordinating bookings and ensuring all movement requirements are met.
• Maintaining high attention to detail when inputting data into our system.
• Working closely with our Netherlands team to ensure timely collections and deliveries.
• Generating accurate invoices and managing client communication.
• Assisting with other operational tasks as needed.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in European road freight is essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage a high volume of emails daily.
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Customs processes is an advantage.
