About the Client

Simon Acres Group LTD are representing a well-established and successful Plumbers Merchant with a strong reputation for customer service and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently deliver goods to customers using a company van (manual transmission).

Load and unload vehicles, ensuring products are handled with care and secured correctly.

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders within the warehouse.

Receive and check incoming stock, ensuring items are stored correctly.

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, acting as a professional representative of the business.

Assist trade counter and branch staff when required.

Requirements /

Skills:

Full UK Manual Driving Licence (essential).

Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery driver role preferred, ideally within a plumbers’ or builders’ merchant environment.

Good knowledge of safe manual handling practices.

Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.

Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Basic knowledge of plumbing and heating products is advantageous.
