Join us as an HGV Class 1 ADR Driver supporting smooth, site‑to‑site shuttle operations between Poole and Portland — keeping essential resin and laminating materials moving for production.

Our client, a leader in the marine sector, is currently seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join their team on a contract basis. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient transport of materials between different sites, including Portland, the tech site, and the pool site.

PAYE Rate: £15.30/hr

Advance Holiday Rate: £17.52/hr

• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport materials safely and efficiently
• Ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies
• Loading and unloading materials at designated locations
• Conducting routine checks and maintenance of the vehicle
• Communicating effectively with the logistics team regarding delivery schedules
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and materials transported
• Adhering to ADR regulations for the transport of hazardous goods

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence
• ADR certification for the transport of hazardous goods
• Experience in driving and operating HGV Class 1 vehicles
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety

• Monday‑Friday
• 07:00‑15:15 – home for the afternoon
• Local shuttle work (no nights out, no tramping)
• Clean, repetitive routes
• 6‑month stable contract
• ADR work without the heavy tanker pressures
