A hands-on development role working directly alongside the founder of a growing logistics business. This is a ground-up opportunity designed for someone ambitious who wants to learn every part of the operation and develop into a future leader or manager within the company. This is not a 9-5 role! Logistics is a 24/7 so expect some unsocial hours as you learn and develop.

Manchester-based logistics operator specialising in:

• general haulage
• palletised freight
• dedicated transport
• warehousing

We operate around 14 vehicles and a 20,000 ft^2 warehouse facility.

You’ll support and learn across:

• transport planning
• driver communication
• fleet coordination
• customer service
• operational problem solving
• warehouse operations
• customer relationship management

• assist with daily planning and routing
• support communication with drivers and customers
• learn operational systems and processes
• help resolve day-to-day operational issues
• support warehouse and transport coordination
• shadow the founder across different areas of the business
• gradually take ownership of operational responsibilities as you develop

• logistics, transport or warehouse experience
