Position:
Waste Collection Driver

Location:

Manchester, M17 1SX

Salary: £39,835.85 per annum + Veolia benefits

Daily meal allowance: £5.00 per day worked.

Hours:

48 hours per week – 4:00am start, finish around 14:30pm. Some days may require an earlier or later start; flexibility and occasional weekend work are required.

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty multiple waste containers.
• Lift bins of all weights and sizes.
• Complete daily vehicle checks as per the driver operator handbook.
• Use onboard technology to complete work notes and logs.
• Comply with all traffic laws, legislation, security and weight restrictions.
• Ensure the carriageway is left in a clean condition and clean up any spillages.

• Essential:
  Class 2 (Cat
  
  C) licence.
• Up‑to‑date CPC Digi/Tachograph card.
• Desirable:
  Waste Management experience.
