Responsibilities
- Process customs clearance for air, sea, and road freight consignments for both imports and exports.
- Submit customs clearance declarations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare customs declarations documents.
- Update clearance status to customers.
- Cover additional assignments as required.
- Previous customs clearance experience (great advantage).
- Knowledge of freight or supply chain logistics (beneficial).
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Good working knowledge of IT systems, including MS Word, Excel and customs declaration software.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Positive, reliable, attention to detail and willingness to help attitude.
- Location:
Trafford Park, Manchester. - Shift: Nights, 4 on/4 off from 6pm to 6am.
- Contract:
TTP. - Salary band: £28,000-£30,000.
- Holidays: 228 days.
