Driver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for an HGV 7.5T Driver to work for our well‑respected client based in Stockport. Manual handling is required as you will deliver food/fresh produce to businesses. Working Monday to Friday, 7 am start. This is a temp‑to‑perm position; the right candidate will be offered a full‑time job.
Duties- Safe and responsible driving of HGV 7.5T Driver
- Conducting daily vehicle checks
- Keeping in contact with our branch team on progress
- Completing paperwork accurately and on time
- Valid HGV C1 (7.5T) Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months' relevant experience
- No DDs, DRs, INs, or TTs
- Good time management and reliability
While employed with Driver Hire Stockport you will receive £16.81 ph. This rate includes holidays paid upfront. If you prefer holidays to be put to one side you will be paid £15.00 ph. When you go full‑time with our client you will receive £15.29 ph.
