Freight Operations Assistant

This is a full-time on-site role as an Operations Assistant professional located in Wythenshawe. As an Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for executing and managing freight operations with an emphasis on European Road Freight but also be exposed to other modes, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers, coordinating shipments, and ensuring a smooth and efficient process. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams and contribute to the growth and success of our freight business.

• Prior experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry, with a focus on European Road Freight operations.
• Working knowledge of European Road Freight procedures, documentation, and regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills to ensure smooth and timely operations.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of international trade and customs clearance procedures is a plus.
