The Role As a Road Freight Operator, you will be responsible for managing road freight shipments across the UK and Europe, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for customers from booking through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities  
Coordinating UK and European road freight shipments
Managing full load (FTL) and groupage movements
Liaising with customers, carriers, and overseas partners
Obtaining and negotiating freight rates
Monitoring shipments and resolving operational issues
Completing all relevant transport and customs documentation
Ensuring compliance with company and industry regulations
Providing exceptional customer service throughout the shipment process
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers  What We're Looking For?  
Previous experience within Road Freight Operations or Freight Forwarding
Knowledge of UK and European road freight movements
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
Commercial awareness and customer-focused approach

Experience with customs procedures would be advantageous
