Operations Manager – Road Freight / UK Import and Export
Location: Manchester, UK
Department: Account Operations
Schedule: Full-time, in office, five days a week

We are a growing team looking for an Operations Manager (Road Freight/ UK import and export/Customer and Carrier facing) in the Commercial department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics.
The role is in our Manchester office, Media City.
Responsibilities- Maintaining and growing the existing customer and carrier portfolio.
- Consistently executing daily business (receiving orders, data entry, informing customers about shipment status, etc.).
- Establishing and maintaining day‑to‑day relationships with contacts.
- Selling and negotiating at a transactional level.
- Identifying new opportunities with current customers outside the existing scope.
- Establishing and proactively maintaining relationships with management‑level contacts inside and outside the organization.
- Gathering, analysing, and preparing relevant information for business reviews and being an active participant.
- Following up the status of customers' transport operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the field.
- 2 years of experience in an account management or commercial role, preferably within the logistics field.
- Excellent English verbal & written communication skills.
- Additional EU language is an advantage.
- Energy and willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Ability to work in a team environment while also delivering independent results.
- Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others.
