Ocean Import Operator

Jump Lane Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for the role of Ocean Import Operator for one of the countries leading Freight Forwarding companies situated in Manchester. With a view to develop and progress within the company.

We’re looking for an operator working as part of a busy Ocean Import team based in Manchester importing cargo from worldwide origin points for a variety of customers.

Working as part of a small team, your role will involve processing Freight Import shipments from start to finish and delivering a high level of customer service.

Candidate must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience within an Ocean Import position.

Training on companies system will be provided.

• Knowledge dealing with FCL & LCL cargo
• Knowledge of customs clearance requirements
• Quotations
• Booking jobs and arranging collections and deliveries
• Bookings in regards to shipments
• Invoicing and job accounting
