HGV Class 1 ADR Driver

HGV Class 1 ADR Driver - Irlam, Manchester People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Irlam, Greater Manchester . This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work within a supportive and professional environment. This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, or Tanker Driver .

The HGV Class 1 ADR Driver will be responsible for driving Class 1 tankers and will be required to complete nights out. This is an ongoing position with the potential of a contract for the right candidate.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday Start times between 04:00 and 07:00 Rates of Pay: £19.00 per hour £26.20 night out allowance Benefits:

As a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver , your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Safely transporting goods to client sites Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks Adhering to traffic laws and company procedures Communicating effectively with the transport office Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly Essential

Skills:

To be successful as a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category CE licence A minimum of eighteen months' experience driving Category CE vehicles A valid ADR licence No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes A valid UK CPC card and Digi card Good spoken and written English Punctuality and excellent timekeeping skills A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable
