HGV Driver

Manchester - M90 5UX

£29,744 – £36,876.06 per year, depending on vehicle and shift

Mon – Fri, 50hrs/week

• Operate commercial vehicles.
• Load and unload goods.
• Ensure loads are securely secured.
• Follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary.
• Carry out basic routine maintenance.
• Complete delivery paperwork, PDA, walk‑around checks or other documentation.
• Adhere to compliance, tacho master and other applicable regulations and laws.

• Valid HGV licence.
• Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations.
• Ability to operate HGVs safely and efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with GPS systems and other tracking devices.
• Minimum 1 year experience driving HGV.
• Clean criminal record check (obtained within 26 weeks).
• Full 5‑year checkable driving history.
• Clean driving licence, if required.
• Valid DQC and current CPC.
