• £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
• £16.81 per hour with holiday pay rolled up into your hourly rate
• Overtime paid at Time and a Half after 8.75 hours worked per shift

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category

C) Drivers for temporary and ongoing contracts across Cheadle and Stockport. Our clients operate a wide range of commercial vehicles, including curtain-sided and flatbed vehicles, offering varied work across the transport and construction sectors. Drivers will deliver a variety of products, including palletised goods, building materials, steel, timber, concrete products and other industrial materials. This is a job and finish role, with early morning starts from 6:00am.

• Drive Class 2 curtain-sided and flatbed vehicles.
• Deliver palletised goods to commercial customers.
• Transport building materials, timber, steel, concrete products and other industrial materials.
• Safely secure loads using ratchet straps and other load restraint equipment where required.
• Open and close curtain-sided vehicles.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport regulations.

• A valid Class 2 (Category
  
  C) driving licence held for a minimum of 1 to 2 years.
• At least 1 year's Class 2 driving experience.
• Experience driving both curtain-sided and flatbed vehicles is preferred.
• Confidence securing loads safely using ratchet straps.
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
• No endorsements that have resulted in a driving ban or disqualification.
• A good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
