Delivery Driver

Overview

Ocado Logistics is hiring Customer Service Team Members in Cheadle, Cheshire. The role involves delivering groceries and providing excellent customer service. You will be on the road in all weather, with routes planned and pre-loaded vans. Shifts include evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays; enhanced overtime and paid breaks are part of the package.

• Deliver quality products on time and in an efficient manner.
• Represent the company in a professional, friendly manner in customer interactions.
• Follow pre-planned routes and assist with loading/unloading as required.
• Work flexible shifts (evenings and weekends) in addition to weekdays.
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment and adhere to company policies.

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
• Must be over 18 years old due to handling alcohol products for some deliveries.
• Good communication skills as this is a customer-facing role.

• Base pay: £12.75 per hour
• Evening Premium (from 6pm): £1.12 per hour
• Sunday Day Premium: £1.28 per hour
• Sunday Evening Premium: £2.51 per hour
• Overtime rates (Monday to Saturday):
  Day Shift £15.94, Evening Shift £17.06
• Shifts:
  
  five 7.5-hour days within a seven-day period; schedule up to 13 weeks in advance
• Contract:
  
  Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

As part of the hiring process, a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check and right-to-work checks will be conducted. A site tour may be offered to meet the team and ask questions.
