• Either Criteria A or Criteria B with the general eligibility requirements listed below.
• Criteria A:
  Minimum 2,000 total flying hours, 1,500 hours on a multi‑crew glass cockpit MPA, and 500 type hours on the A320.
• Criteria B:
  Minimum 1,500 total flying hours and 1,000 hours on any A320 family aircraft.
• Unrestricted ATPL or a valid frozen ATPL issued by an ICAO member state.
• Unrestricted, current Class 1 medical.
• Age not exceeding 50 on the day of joining.
• English language fluency Level 4 or better.
• Type rating on the A320 valid for at least two months at the time of joining.

• Assist the Captain with flight preparation, navigation, and operational duties.
• Maintain an independent, continuous check of aircraft position, terrain, and weather.
• Provide clear communication, advice, and support to the Captain to aid safe and efficient decision‑making.
• Uphold high standards of discipline, conduct, and personal appearance, representing Etihad professionally.
• Assume command if the Captain becomes incapacitated, following rank and company procedures.
