FLT Driver – Temp to Perm role | Trafford Park
Location:
Trafford Park
Pay Rate: £14.33 per hour and Overtime rate is £19.04p/h over 48 hours a week
Shifts:
4on 4off rotating with 2days shift (7am to 7pm) and 2 Nights shift (7pm to7am)
The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a major logistics supplier based in Trafford Park.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for Temp to Perm full time work within a fast-paced warehouse environment. There is also the potential for a long-term position following a successful temporary period of 12 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate counterbalance forklifts and other MHE.
Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
Move and organise stock within the warehouse using Counterbalance truck.
Operate double pallet forklifts where required (Training will be provided).
Pick, pack and stage customer orders.
Complete routine forklift and equipment safety checks.
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
Follow all company health & safety procedures.
Ensure stock is handled accurately and safely at all times.
What We're Looking For
Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence – Essential
Previous warehouse experience.
Experience operating a double pallet forklift is preferred, although training may be provided.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills.
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Break Information: 75 minutes total — 3 × 15-minute breaks and 1 × 30-minute break.
Before You Start All successful candidates will be required to complete an FLT assessment and site induction before starting work.
