FLT Counterbalance Driver

Shifts:

Ad hoc, 1–2 days per week, Between Monday to Wednesday We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a major logistics supplier based in Trafford Park . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for flexible, ad hoc work within a fast-paced warehouse environment. There is also the potential for a long-term position following a successful temporary period.

• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts and other MHE.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Move and organise stock within the warehouse.
• Operate double pallet forklifts where required.
• Pick, pack and stage customer orders.
• Complete routine forklift and equipment safety checks.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Follow all company health & safety procedures.
• Ensure stock is handled accurately and safely at all times.

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence – Essential
• Previous warehouse and counterbalance experience.
• Experience operating a double pallet forklift is preferred, although training may be provided.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Working hours:

7:00am – 7:00pm.

Shifts:

Ad hoc, typically 1–2 days per week between Monday to Wednesday. Breaks: 75 minutes total — 3 × 15-minute breaks and 1 × 30‑minute break.

All successful candidates will be required to complete an FLT assessment and site induction before starting work.
