HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER - TRAFFORD PARK

Smart Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for HGV Class 2 Skip Drivers to join a busy and growing waste management operation based in Trafford Park.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Class 2 Driver looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with competitive pay, overtime opportunities and the potential for permanent employment.

Location:

Trafford Park
Night Rate: £21.09 per hour

Monday to Friday

• 15:00 - 00:30
• £21.09 per hour

• Operate a Class 2 Skip or RoRo vehicle safely and professionally
• Deliver and collect skips and containers across designated routes
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Ensure loads are secure and transported in accordance with regulations
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately
• Maintain high standards of customer service
• Comply with Driver Hours, Health & Safety, and company procedures

• Valid HGV Class 2 / Cat C licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 2 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• No major driving offences, including DR, DD, CD or similar disqualifying offences
• Previous waste industry experience is desirable but NOT essential
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling
• Comfortable working independently and as a lone driver
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
• Good knowledge of commercial driving regulations and road safety
