Job Title:
HGV Class 1 Driver (Multidrop) Minimal to no handballing
Location:
Manchester
Pay Rate: £17.37 to £35.16 p/h (includes rolled up holiday pay)
Shifts:
Monday to Friday, Day and Night shifts (various start times) occasional weekends
Experience:
12 months Class 1 experience is essential
Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Manchester to work with our client who is the global leader in the logistics industry.

Regular, ongoing shifts £17.37 DAYS (Holiday Roll Up)
£19.05 Nights (Holiday Roll Up)
£19.05 Days Overtime After 8 hours (Holiday Roll Up)
£21.29 Nights Overtime After 8 hours (Holiday Roll Up)
Weekend rate subject to change after 12 weeks.
HGV Class 1 Driver - The role & responsibilities:
Driving a Class 1 vehicle
Multidrop deliveries and pallet collection
Curtainsider work
Loading and unloading with the use of Tail Lift and MHE
Conducting Vehicle Checks via mobile phone App
Industry standard paperwork and vehicle checks will also be required.
About you:
You will have a can do and approachable attitude.
You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving.
You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.
You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
